How UBL Premium Debit MasterCard works?

UBL Premium Debit MasterCard is an ATM / Debit card. Each time a cardholder uses the card to shop or withdraw money from an ATM, the amount is automatically deducted from the customer's account.

How shall the customer know where UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard can be used?

UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard can be used at:

  • All UBL ATMs
  • All 1 Link & M-Net ATMs
  • ATMs bearing the MasterCard / Cirrus logo
  • All merchants displaying the MasterCard logo in Pakistan & abroad.

How to shop using UBL Premium Debit MasterCard?

UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard can be used anywhere where MasterCard is accepted.

The cardholder shall give the cashier the card to swipe at the POS terminal on purchases made through this card. The Cardholder must check the amount printed on the receipt to make sure there are no errors.

The customer shall be asked to sign the receipt.

The purchase amount will automatically be deducted from the account. Cardholder can continue to use the card until the account balance has been depleted or until the card reaches its expiry.

For how long is my card valid?

The validity period is 5 years from the date of issue.

What shall the customer do when the account balance has been depleted?

In this case, the customer can visit the UBL branch that has issued UBL Premium Debit MasterCard and get the account replenished. As soon as the customer's account has been credited, the card can be used again.

Are supplementary cards available for customers?

Yes, customers can avail up to 3 supplementary cards.

Is there anything that customers should know before conducting any transaction with UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard?

Customers need to be sure of their account balance before conducting any transaction.

On internet/online transactions, the cardholder will first need to call up the Contact Centre to activate the 'internet session.'

How does the customer know the balance on the UBL Account?

The balance can be checked on the card by visiting the nearest ATM and conducting a balance inquiry transaction or contacting the Call Centre at 111-825-888.

For how long can the UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard be used?

Customers can make purchases and or withdrawl cash using UBL Premium Debit MasterCard until the expiration date shown on the card (which is 5 years after the issuance) or until the account's value has been deleted. Once the balance on the account has been depleted, customers can add more money to the account at the UBL branch.

How can a customer receive a UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard?

New to Bank

  • Call the UBL Contact Center at 111-825-888
  • Fill out a simple form at the branch in which they are maintaining the account. The branch will forward the request for the card to the concerned department. Customers can collect their cards in 3-4 business days from the same branch or can avail the option for it to be couriered at the accountholder’s address.

How many cards can a customer get?

Eligible customers can have 1 basic card against a single account with 3 supplementary cards with every basic card.

Can customers access their account statement for the UBL NFC Premium Debit Mastercard?

Customers may subscribe to our free-of-cost UBL e-statement facility, which offers statements at various frequencies (Daily, Monthly, Weekly & Quarterly).

The customers can access a mini statement of their account by visiting the nearest UBL ATM or contacting UBL Contact Centre at 111-825-888.

Whom should the customers contact if they encounter any problems abroad?

Customers can contact our customer support representatives at the UBL Contact Centre by dialing +92-21-32446949 or 111-825-888 for any difficulties they face or queries that they may have.

How will the customer receive a PIN for their UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard?

Customers can generate their ATM PIN through IVR (Interactive Voice Recording) by calling the Phone banking department at 111-825-888.

What to do if customers lose their UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard?

Customers must report the loss immediately by calling Phone Banking at 111-825-888. Phone banking will block their existing card and raise a request for a replacement card. The cardholder will get the card in 7-10 business days from the respective branch or, in special cases, via mail to their last updated address.

How to generate the ATM PIN for the UBL NFC Premium Debit MasterCard?

Customers can generate their ATM PIN through IVR (Interactive Voice Recording) by calling the Phone banking department at 111-825-888.
