Documents Required

Your national identity document (CNIC, Smart Card, etc).
Your source of funds (salary slip, remittance slip, etc).*
Your proof of residence(utility bills - water, electricity, gas).

*In case source of funds is through a dependent, their source of funds proof will be required.

Fee Continuation Benefits

The plan will provide a safety net to the families of UBL Urooj accountholders & their spouses against uncertainties of life. The product will provide coverage against Death or Accidental Permanent Total Disability. In case if God Forbid accountholder and/or her spouse dies or becomes permanently disabled, the plan will provide a fixed School fee continuation benefit as per selected variant for three years, providing financial protection & funds which can be used for the education of the child.

Claims:

Claims shall directly be raised by the customer to EFU. Claim will be paid to UBL or the Nominated Beneficiary.
Nominated beneficiary can be a blood relative (parents, siblings or children) or Spouse who shall get paid by the EFU Life in case of a claim due to death of the insured member.

Karachi Exclusions For Death Benefit

Pre-existing condition which includes disease and incapacity or bodily injury which existed prior to this coverage
Suicide and attempt to suicide, murder, self-inflicted injury and illegal act of the covered member
Participating in exercises or operations while serving with of the armed or paramilitary forces or while performing any form of police duty
War, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), armed or unarmed truce, civil war, mutiny, rebellion, revolution, insurrection by military or usurped power, riot or civil commotion, an illegal organization or an industrial dispute
