Duration: The Level Up Program spans a comprehensive 9-month period, during which participants will immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience. Upon successful completion you will move into a permanent role within UBL.

How to Join the Level Up Program?

Application: Applications are now open and will be accepted until 30 October 2023. As part of Level Up 2.0 application form you will be required to answer questions about yourself and upload your resume.

Gamified Assessment: Once registered, you will be invited to take a gamified assessment between 23-31 October 2023.

Innovation Weekend: Participants selected through the assessment will be invited to the Innovation Weekend in Karachi, scheduled for 18-19 November 2023.

Who Can Apply for the Program?

Recent graduates in STEM, Design, Social Sciences, Economics, Finance, and Communication, as well as young professionals wishing to pivot to design, product development and/or data strategy are encouraged to apply. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged.

FAQS

How should I prepare for the application?

You will be required to answer questions about yourself and upload your resume, so make sure you have you CNIC nearby and that your resume is up to date.

What is the Innovation Weekend?

A 48-hour design-athon hosted at the UBL Digital Lab in Karachi. In teams of 3-4, candidates will solve a design challenge mentored by UBL designers and product owners. They will pitch their solutions at the end for a chance to secure a Level Up Associate contract—10 spots available.

What happens after I am selected?

Starting January 1, 2024, you will be enrolled in a full-time, rigorous, hands-on training and work experience. The program consists of four modules with breaks in between. A detailed program calendar will be shared with selected participants. Participants who successfully achieve the defined objectives of the four modules will graduate from the program on September 30, 2024.

What skills will I learn?

During the program, you will be introduced to design thinking principles, product engineering, and management. You will work on real projects, taking them from ideas to implementation, and learn to monitor their performance post-launch.

What happens after I graduate from the program?

Successful graduates of the program may be offered a permanent role within UBL Digital or other functions of UBL.

Is this a paid program?

Absolutely. Each Level Up associate will be paid PKR 90,000/- per month, before tax. You will also be provided with laptops and access to software and tools to conduct your daily work.

Can I participate in the program remotely?

No. Level Up associates will primarily work out of the UBL Digital Design Lab in Karachi.

Will I get a relocation allowance if I am not from Karachi?

Up to 2 candidates that are based out of cities besides Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad will be offered an additional PKR 25,000/- per month as relocation allowance. This is aimed at enhancing diversity in the selected cohort.
