The National Financial Literacy Program (NFLP) is SBP initiative to create basic financial education awareness in general public. UBL has leading this incentive and targeted large number in general public to provide financial and account opening education with target audience, comprising of an equal mix of males and females (50:50 ratio) between the ages of 18 and 60 years across rural and urban areas across the country.
This subject program is being launched by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) through SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) field offices in partnership with Banks, MFIs, NGOs etc. SBP BSC has collaborated with banks to identify Lead Bank and partner institutions in every district of country covered under NFLP. The mode of information delivery to the target audience will be through Classroom sessions and Street Theaters at various locations across the Pakistan. Our Field Officials are being trained by the NFLP Master Trainers to conducting the classroom sessions to deliver main course contents at grass root level. The program also involves showcasing of street theatre videos to large groups of target audience with different regional languages, which will encourage them to get involved and utilize UBL banking services and features as well.
Mode of information delivery to the target audience will be through Classroom Sessions and Street Theater.
