Shariah Basis:
UBL Ameen Pensioner Current Account is based on Shariah Compliant mode of “Qard””. However; UBL Ameen Pensioner Saving Account is based on Shariah Compliant mode of “Mudarabah”where the depositer is “Rab-ul-Maal” and Bank acts as “Mudarib”.
Customer Eligibility:
Employees of Govt. & Semi Government organizations for receiving pensions only.
Initial Deposit:
No initial deposit would be required for opening of Ameen Pensioner Account.
Profit Payment:
The profit on UBL Ameen Pensioner Saving account will be paid on Six Monthly basis.

The account is dedicated for pensioners only. Joint Account shall not be allowed. Only one pensioner account can be opened across the bank.

The pensioner and family pensioner is required to undergo biometric verification from any branch of bank maintaining his/her pension account, every year in the months of March and September.

In case of unsuccessful biometric verification, pensioner and family pensioner has to submit life certificate every year in the months of March and September. Family pensioner will also provide non marriage certificate on or before September 30 each Year.

In case of pensioner, the account shall become Dormant, if pensioner

fails to undergo biometric verification during the month of March and September or
-
fails to submit a life certificate during the month of March and September or
-
does not draw pension or debits his /her account for consecutive six months.

In case of Family pensioner, the account shall become Dormant, if family pensioner

fails to undergo biometric verification during the month of March and September or
-
fails to submit a life certificate during the month of March and September or
-
does not draw pension or debits his /her account for consecutive six months.

fails to submit Non Marriage declaration on or before September 30 each Year. Non marriage declaration will not be required from a family pensioner (widow/daughter/sister of the pensioner) attains the age of 60 years.
